Residential Program

New Cornerstones offers the option of a residential 're-discernment' year for people who are ready to explore how they may still be called to ordained ministry, although perhaps in a different path than they tried before.

Here in Hyde Park, Chicago, participants may join us at the GlobalServe Co-op in order to be physically closer to a supportive discernment community and multiple discernment resources, including seminaries, spiritual directors, counselors, concerned pastors, and other seminarians who have had to find new congregational and denominational homes.

This program seeks to be an affordable means for those who need time and space in order to consider their options.

If you find yourself unable to re-locate to Chicago, we also have some resources available to assist you.

Please note: The Residential Program is not a re-accrediting/ordaining body. An application process and a criminal background check are required, in order to protect against persons who were removed from ministry for acts of abuse towards another person.
